South-east border of the village is formed by river Nitra and from Bojnice the village is separated by Teplý potok (a warm stream) that flows from the pond in Spa Bojnice and two more streams that flow through the village. In the vicinity of the village river Handlovka joins river Nitra. Moreover, there is as well a dead shoulder of river Nitra where a number of fish can be found (tench, crucian carp, rudd fish, occasionally even an eel or pike), reptiles and Amphibians. In rich willow, poplar and cattail vegetation a great number of birds found their nesting places there. The whole territory is under the protective zone of natural healing resources. At present time the village is rather developed with restaurants, salaš, wellness center etc.
