Even small museum can hide great treasures… you don’t believe it?
Long gone are the times when on roads, mostly dusty ones, a person could meet only fellow pedestrian or a wagon pulled by horses or cows… and then the “time of motoring”, a time of diesel and petrol that has changed the world forever.
One who has a heart loving the technology from the times of our grandfathers will discover beautiful exhibits, literally technical pieces of art in this privately-owned Moto Museum. As the owner of the Museum says – he himself being enthusiastic savior of witnesses to moto-progress: “The most beautiful piece of furniture in a living room is a car or a motorcycle from the time of the first Czechoslovak Republic.” And you will agree with him as soon as you see the elegance of a moto-bike “Čezeta” from 1934, magnificent “Čezeta” ČZ-500 from 1939 with an aerodynamic sidecar (the only one in Slovakia) or beautiful JAWA machines from the 30s of the last century. When looking at Tatra 12 from 1929 or sturdy black Renault Celta Aqualder from 1936 you will be simply admiring technical workmanship and a sense of elegance of our ancestors.
Moto Museum is open daily to the public (Monday – Sunday) from 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM on the premises of DKP Slovakia (from the E572 take turn to Lehota pod Vtáčnikom and after approximately 500 meters right after the turn enter the premises of the company DKP). It is necessary to book in advance, preferably by phone.
